crock pot quinoa - power packed breakfast


~1 cup quinoa
~3 cups almond milk
~5 dates chopped
~1/4 cup sunflower seeds
~1 red apple peeled & diced
~2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg & 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to:

1. place everything to a crock pot and cook on high until all liquid s absorbed, about 2.5 hours.

2. this is naturally sweet due to the dates & apples, but feel free to add a bit of organic sugar to the top or even some maple syrup.

3. add any additional fruits or nuts you like to the top, serve warm & enjoy.

We made this last night before bed and warmed it up a bit for this mornings breakfast. soo good!
